To make a label a certain shape and size the paper must be cut with a die. A die is made by photo etching the shape into steel and then machine sharpening it. We have compiled many dies for many shapes and sizes. For unique or personal sizes that we do not have, a die can be made. The average processing and stocking charge for a new die is $200-$400 and it takes about 3 days to process. This is only a partial charge for us to obtain the new die and the die becomes part of our inventory. Each new size and shape is only charged once. You are not charged on reorders that use the same die or on any other die that we have in stock for you. We add new dies to our inventory all the time so please ask us if you do not see it.
The dies are designed to create labels that will be applied by hand if you want a label for machine application contact us.
